Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) January 22, 2010 — Accelar announced today the launch of its all-inclusive 3-day/2-night Reno Tahoe ski packages with two weekly departures from San Francisco Bay Area – one from North Bay and one from South Bay. The company also announced the schedule and pick-up locations for these departures with the first departure scheduled on February 5th, 2010 followed by departures each subsequent Friday through the end of March, 2010.

The company also announced today the launch of its ski package booking portal – www.RenoTahoeSkiTrips.com – which enables consumers to build and book their customized ski packages. The company also announced agreements with leading ski resorts for lift tickets and leading hotels, casinos, and resorts for lodging options included in these ski packages that consumers can book online. Please see accompanying press release for additional details.

The ski trips portal – www.RenoTahoeSkiTrips.com – is the latest in the lineup of sports, events, and destination portals launched by the company. The portal promotes Reno Tahoe as a destination for skiers and snowboarders and enabling them to build and book their own customized ski packages, including lift tickets, lodging and transportation to / from San Francisco Bay Area to the leading ski resorts in Reno Tahoe.

The company also announced agreements with seven leading ski resorts:

  • Diamond Peak Ski Resort, Incline Village, NV
  • Heavenly, South Lake Tahoe, CA
  • Kirkwood Ski Resort, Kirkwood, CA
  • Northstar-at-Tahoe Ski Resort, Truckee, CA
  • Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort, Twin Bridges, CA
  • Squaw Valley USA, Truckee, CA
  • Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, Norden, CA

These ski resorts offer a variety of skiing and snowboarding experience – advanced, leisure, beginner – based on the skiing experience sought by consumers. The ski resorts offer consumers diverse skiing options on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore – Diamond Peak, Northstar and Sugar Bowl – as well as South Shore – Heavenly, Kirkwood and Sierra-Tahoe. The company also announced agreements with several hotels, casinos, and resorts:

  • Cal-Neva Resort, Crystal Bay, Nevada
  • Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Property, Truckee, CA
  • Harrah’s, Reno, NV
  • Harvey’s, South Lake Tahoe, CA
  • John Ascuaga’s Nugget, Reno, NV
  • Northstar Village, Truckee, CA
  • Resort at Squaw Creek, Squaw Valley, CA
  • Silver Legacy, Reno, NV

Included in each of the packages is round-trip transportation from eight locations all across San Francisco Bay Area – Concord, Daly City (San Francisco), Emeryville, Fremont, Mountain View, San Jose, Stockton, Vacaville – to the ski resorts and lodging chosen by the consumer. “We are excited about the opportunity to serve the 3+ million skiers and snowboarders who visit Reno Tahoe each year with a broad set of ski resorts, lodging and transportation options we offer through our portal,” said Accelar President and CEO, Kumar Shah. “Unlike other websites and portals promoting Reno Tahoe skiing, our portal offers consumers the ability to build and personalize their own all-inclusive ski packages and self-serve their needs for lift tickets, lodging and transportation booking – all through one portal.”

“We are delighted with Accelar’s all-inclusive ski and snowboarding packages promoting Reno Tahoe as the destination for San Francisco Bay Area skiers and snowboarders,” said Jan Colyer, Executive Director with the Truckee North Tahoe Transportation Management Association. “With more than seventeen ski resorts in the Reno Tahoe region, our region offers the broadest array of skiing options and most diverse terrains compared to any other ski & snowboarding destination in the world. With their all-inclusive packages, including transportation, Accelar has made the Reno Tahoe region a lot more accessible to the San Francisco Bay Area.”

“With the multitude and diversity of lodging options – hotels, casinos, and resorts – Reno has a lot to offer skiers and snowboarders,” said Mark Tulman, Member Representative from the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce. “Accelar offers a unique way for visitors to our area to personalize and customize their ski packages so they can explore all those options and build a package that will make their Reno Tahoe Experience memorable.”
