NDOT – Lake Tahoe Project Update

July 2, 2009 by North Lake Tahoe Transit

Contract 3371 – State Route 28.  I very pleased to announce that this project has been completed one week ahead of the scheduled July 2 date.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience while the much needed roadway improvements were performed.  One interesting improvement that was added to this project was the installation of one new infra-red camera roadway sensor.  Two roadway camera sensors exist on SR 28, one can be seen on the mountain side of SR 28 ( pole mounted) at the south end of Sand Harbor just off the shoulder and the other is on the mountain side at Secret Creek.   Granite construction provided a high quality product for the tax payers of the State of Nevada .

Contract 3377 – State Route 207 (Kingsbury Grade).  The start date for this project has not yet been determined.  The contract is in the final signature loop process.  An update will be issued when the official start date is confirmed.
